If your Sage Smudge Wand was born during the cooler months, botanicals for your smudge bundle were lovingly selected indoors where our window gardens wait patiently to serve the specific needs of each and every client. If your Sage Smudge Wand was born during the warmer months, ingredients for your smudge bundle were considerately collected outdoors from our crystal charged gardens, where our plants flourish among the birds and the bees, the sun and the trees, the moon and the breeze.
Our gardens grow love! Plants have so much to give for those needing their healing power. Their ability to provide magical properties is divine. For any issue here on this great earth, there is a perfect solution, just visit a well stocked garden!
We give thanks to our plants every day. Our flowers and herbs are part of our family. We honor and celebrate their divinity as as they wake and rise to the sun. They are wise ancestors, beloved to us! We cherish the gift of life they give.
At times when we receive an order we may wait a bit to gather your wand ingredients, or to create your bundle, if that allows for a special healing or replenishing time during the moon cycle, or on holidays such as a Solstice.
Once your botanicals are selected they are gently arranged on a tray, or inside of baskets. Your wand maker practices spiritual cleansing in preparation, and meditation is used to focus on setting intentions while bundling. If your order is for intuitively crafted smudge bundles, your spirit guides step in to communicate their point of view, and to share helpful information.
Some wands seem to make themselves in a way! They instruct exactly what to bundle and where to place each leaf, piece of bark, stem or petal.
During pleasant weather or light rain your wand is made outdoors on the patio of The Sage Cottage, overlooking many of our gardens. Bird songs bless the creation, rain or shine.
During very hot or very cold weather your wand is made indoors. among our happy plants while inspirational music plays.
Once your bundle is finished it is inspected for loose bits or wobbly twine wraps. If all is exactly as it should be, your wand dries in the sun, or in our happy home. We use Feng Shui solutions to improve the energy indoors and out. This makes for very strong and magical Sage Smudge Wands!
Once your wand is completely dry and safe to ship, we practice Vibrational Transfer. Many customers ask how long it takes to create a Sage Smudge Bundle. Well, that depends. Some wands take about twenty five minutes to craft. Others take much longer, perhaps an hour or more. Smaller wands can be much more labor intensive as each botanical must be perfectly placed.
