I've got tons of recently bundled wand portraits (they LOVE love love having their photos taken!) to upload, but as usual there's just not enough time to do so. Seasonal changes keep us busy here at The Sage Cottage.
Frost comes at night, so here's the rundown on what's what:
We still have fresh Tibetan sage, but no new purple blooms. I harvested what I could and our fridge is full up, so a few more clients will receive our favorite flowers in their bundles. This includes the local NJ shop run by two sisters, and a single wand order received this morning for a new home. Enjoy!!
Sweetgrass is alive and well indoors and also in the cold frame. I've dried a bit and I'm crossing fingers for enough to last through spring
Lemongrass survived the frost so far. I've dried boat loads. I've learned not to bother attempting to transplant any indoors, it hates our old cottage's drafty winter window temps and also dislikes our plant lights. New lemongrass will be grown in spring.
Patchouli is growing fresh in the cottage. Chamomile did not survive coming indoors and also did not feel the cold frame, so we only have it dried. Some rose bushes are still blooming but most are done. We have many dried petals just in case!
Rosemary and lavender are fresh in the cottage, large quantities are dry in preparation for who knows what, and some are doing alright so far in the cold frame. Many took a dive. Our little friends! This time of year hurts in the heart chakra.
White sage, our trickiest grower, is giving us a bit of trouble. Most plants did not survive coming indoors, but we have several winners doing well. We shall see what winter brings!
Local favorites alert...knotweed is still going strong out in the cold. Indian sage came and went, but we dried a few box fulls. Spikenard blooms (two stages) did well this summer and fall, and we saved what we could but there were some moisture issues during drying. We lost a lot of spikenard and also patchouli due to a barn mishap, but no worries. The Sage Cottage is magical and our botanicals always provide more than they seemingly should!
Larkspur had difficulties with the unnatural amounts of rain sent to NJ. Yarrow also suffered terribly. We have two fantastic families who share their own bounty with us when The Sage Cottage is in need. Same goes for roses, so we'll never actually run out.
Bay laurel is still growing nicely outdoors. We also dried a good amount.
Lemon balm is still available outdoors and indoors, and we have much dried along with lime balm.
Hibiscus is alive outside and has many closed blooms. I took what I could and placed the stems in jars of water. Some have opened and are drying in bundled wands to ship today, including: gift purchase of three Love wands, gift purchase for a super mom, and a double thump wand purchase for a repeat client. Enjoy!! I did dry many hibiscus petals, as well as Rose of Sharon blooms, which present identical metaphysical properties to related Asian hibiscus.
Wormwood, all mints and much miscellaneous this and that are still alive outdoors. We've wrapped up all drying projects, the hanging baskets are empty and ready for winter storage.
I think that's the low down on the gardens, if I missed anything I apologize.

We will be launching Freedom Wands sometime soon. Each time I start the project I'm interrupted by personal family household needs, so perhaps send me a little energetic bump to get these wands rolling! We're going to use a new Etsy shop to present them, that way there is no confusion between pre-made wands and Intuitive Orders from our current Etsy shop.
Regarding internet places...we have discontinued use of eBay, Facebook, and Twitter. You can still find us on Instagram as thesagecottage, and we are also in a handful of other haunts which we don't publish. Etsy is our main contact if you wish to connect online. Using Instagram from a desktop version is stinky at best, so we are not really on there much. I keep my email open on our laptop often, so Etsy alerts are available to me when I'm not in a trance-like state during spirit vortex work or wand bundling.
Some clients are asking for psychic readings. I keep promising I will open the Etsy listing for readings and announce the availability here and on Instagram once it's up. Many times I have considered moving forward with it, but I sense it is not yet time for that type of workload. Readings take up much of my own energy and the data and sensations stay with me for a very long time. This hinders regular wand making work. I just want to clarify that I do think of those who desire readings, and I send a lot of communication to your auras. Little responses to what I know you are experiencing and what you are excited about. I hope that holds you over until we can read together! You are all doing well with your path, you have done excellent work.
Important! We will be offering catalog or mail order sales. This is for clients who wish to go offline but still want The Sage Cottage wands delivered. The goal is to share instructions here on our website, as well as instructions on a flyer to ship with orders. We have a post office box. Clients may select their wands to be bundled, ship their cash or money order or cashiers check to us at our P.O. box, and use any safety means necessary such as signature of receipt or whatnot. We check our P.O. box once or twice each week, we'll receive orders and ship as soon as possible. There will be a discount for working offline. This will be a great asset for shops and personal purchases alike!
We are including orgonite with each and every order. We shared a blog post all about orgonite a while back. I hope everyone loves it! Each piece is unique and weekly batches feature different crystals such as kyanite, black tourmaline, rose quartz, amethyst, aventurine, sodalite, as well as clear quartz. We acquire new crystals often! Next month we plan to visit one of shops where we hand select our minerals, but it is far away so the trip requires much planning.

Yes, some are wary of our words. That is good, it is important to question everything! Never take things at face value! Always investigate for yourself, we certainly do.
Here is my personal scary saga:
For many years I have suffered nightmares. They just did not feel organic to me. I sensed the "dreams" were not natural or normal. We are taught many things regarding nighttime sleep, and none of this applied. I felt under attack.
A couple weeks ago I woke to someone, SOMETHING chattering loudly. I sat up in bed and listened. It was a cartoon-y but demonic sounding voice saying "get out and run, get out, get out, get away from here and run away, run away", in a threatening and also mocking tone. It reminded me of horror movies when an evil clown speaks aggressively while also sounding jovial. Does that make sense?
Here is what is disturbing, the voice was coming from our air cleaner in our bedroom closet. Once turned off it stopped communicating. For years now we have asked clients not to use electronics of any sort in the bedroom at night. It is commonly known that today's technology allows for VAST negativity to roam via the interwebs and electronic devices. It is what it is. Many of you recall childhood memories of "hauntings" in your rooms at night, and seeing those old fashioned digital clocks next to your beds showing the wrong numbers. We learned early on! But not all of us had "paranormal" experiences during youth, some are learning now. Many do not know why they are "haunted".
Since discontinuing use of the closet air cleaner at night (its purpose is for our kitty cats who have a litter box tucked away in their private space, the closet is dark so we like to use air cleaners with UV light for air sterilization) I have not had any nightmares, until this morning.
We've been using an alarm clock to wake very early, due to temporary schedule changes. Normally we wake on our own. Today when the alarm clock went off I could feel it wasn't time for me to rise yet. My hands still ached from wand bundling all afternoon and through the night. I require much rest and reset after working with so many clients and their energetic vortex data. I announced my intent to take a short nap and went to sleep. When I woke I was freaked out after dreaming of a mouse on the top of my head, aphid insects in all my indoor plants, and a kitchen table full of dirty dishes which no one cared to clean up after. This may not sound like much, but to me during this dream I was very upset. When I woke my body held terrific fear and overwhelming anxiety. I was also upset from having had a nightmare, worried that my theory about electronics was wrong.
I left the bedroom, entered the living room, and saw THE COMPUTER WAS ON. A-ha!
The other night we were watching a YouTube video while cozy on the couch and I drifted off into a short nap. When I woke I was in a really foul mood, and I picked an argument with my partner. I then realized how often we squabble after I have napped while the computer is on. It all makes sense! WE SHOULD NOT SLEEP WITH ELECTRONICS RUNNING! Please do understand, this is truly a portal method.
So much is going on all around us, in all of the dimensions. Many of us are just now beginning to feel and to "see" all of our timelines. We do have access! We can make the changes needed! This can be incredible, helpful, and also confusing or upsetting. During own spiritual growth we are also juggling concepts of living in a harmful environment, due to those with negative intentions against humanity. Earth is being made into something foreign which does not fully support life as we know it. We need to send care and energy to all living creatures around us, including earth and the sky and the water and the soil! We know you have questions! Many feel alone, unable to introduce meaningful topics to loved ones and work associates, wanting to chat with someone, ANYONE about what matters most!
Here is a very important update: We want you to be able to contact us, any time, without having to use the interwebs. We know things are not safe. We know what is online. Don't feel you must put your most intimate thoughts and concerns out there for the randoms to gather!

Energy Update...the sensation of "the veil" being thin around the time of Halloween is here. Proceed with caution. Never "ghost hunt". Do take time to explore your world to "see" what is there and how it interacts with your thoughts, emotions, reality, and to better understand how it may trigger your memories of personal timelines. This is when you may enter the ancient areas to learn of their struggles and achievements, and to be gifted divine knowledge from our universe. Avoid opening channels via acts such as reiki, card reading, runes or divination. Such actions allow for negativity to come through into our realm as you are inviting random unknowns to interact.
