Warren County is flooded in many areas. Our outdoor gardens are very wet, and more rain is on the way. Many of our plants are wishing for drier days. We are taking preparations to avoid further damage from excessive rain, as many unusual storms are to come in 2021-2022.

We are slowing converting to indoor growing, but time and space limit many intended projects. We live in a cottage, and our yard is tiny. We have one small greenhouse, several coldframes, and a hoop structure about to be set up in time for first frost.

Our gardens expand each year, thanks to purchases made in our online shops. We will continue to offer our services online, but please do make note on how to contact us directly. We are currently thinking on how to open a shop here in our home, to better support our local clients.

What's new in The Sage Cottage Gardens

Yarrow! Big yellow Yarrow blooms are The Bomb! First we had a few in the greenhouse, and now they are lining up along the cottage wall. Next will be red and burgundy Yarrow blooms, perhaps in a few weeks.

Miniature Cream Roses! New to the greenhouse! These babies produce 3-11 blooms per day, and dry to an exquisite paper white tone. Serenity in a flower!

Fresh Honeysuckle! A ten bouquet order for 3" bundles just received the first of this delightful scent. We only collect the blooms from behind the barn, leaving all of the vines on the English hedge. Imagine if both could bloom at the same time, Dream Perfume.

Meadowsweet Flowers adorns many bouquets this Spring. They are beautiful, delicate, and divinely scented. Each bloom is nature's art.

This Fall one of our in-ground gardens will be protected by a hoop house. We may also create smaller greenhouses. Our goal is to grow as much as possible, mainly outdoors in natural light. All Blessings Smudge Service sales assist in keeping our gardens blooming, year round!

What's new in The Sage Cottage ✿

We're about to slice into a lovely stump of sacred Palo Santo wood. We were able to purchase it in 2019 as a back up for our own dwindling supply. This scent compliments our own homegrown favorites.

We've broken up our large crystals to prepare for the amount of crystal-bound smudge bouquet requests expected this year. All orders are receiving very pretty crystals! Fuchsite, Rose Quartz, Kyanite, Selenite, Calcite, Amethyst and many more are available! The good thing about hoarding crystals and hunting minerals is Lots and Lots of Crystals! We will be finding more minerals this year. Watch for listings featuring Drusy Jasper. We offered a few on FreedomWands in 2019 and they were a big hit!

FreedomWands Etsy shop will be two years old in June! This shop was originally opened to provide pre-made smudge, which we no longer offer at this time. Now FreedomWands is the focus of our Sage-Free smudge.

For those local to Warren County and Penn/Jersey: We are thinking on adding a Free Library and Produce Cart for those who live and work in the area. We would like to provide soup mixes, teas, fresh flowers, fresh herbs, and potted plants as well. Our street gets much traffic, we would like to make the most of the energy to offer our services!

We are also thinking on hosting classes here at our cottage home, something that is always in the back of our minds as we plan garden layouts. We've creating a welcoming and beautiful environment which calms and heals. May the near future bring gatherings in the gardens!

Celebrate Spring with Seasonal Smudge ✿

Spring is almost here! The morning bird songs have begun! Our Sun stays much longer in the sky each evening, and the gardens are thinking on preparations for warmer times. So are we here at The Sage Cottage, as we wish to offer the most spectacular floral bouquet smudge in 2021.

Each year our gardens expand, indoors and also outside. Coldframes are set up where needed, and our greenhouse has become stuffed full of blooming botanicals.

We cloned enough White Sage, Tibetan Sage, Patchouli, Rosemary, French Lavender, and Sage Cottage Specialty Lavender plants to keep up production yields even during plant die off due to cold temps or low light. This has been our best Winter yet! Never have so many botanicals survived many months into the end of harsh and unpredictable New Jersey Winter weather! Our candle heaters saved the day (and night) when power was down. Our experiments with jugs of water and concrete pavers for passive heating were also a Win! 2020 was very good to us, and 2021 also provides Prosperity and Luck!

The Sage Cottage is not a business. We are a family. Our goal is to help Earth and all life, and to share our talents for improving energy with the public. In selling Blessings Bouquet Smudge we are able to fund care for our magical healing gardens, afford trips to favorite sites for mineral hunting, and pay for the costs of our Orgonite gifting projects. Though our work is time consuming and our processes for crafting are challenging, we look forward to offering our sacred services well into the future! We deeply enjoy and appreciate the relationships we build with clients, and the work we conduct on behalf of those who are guided to our gardens and to our shops.

In celebration of Spring we will continue to offer sales in our Etsy shops, and as always those sale prices will be honored for PayPal clients. Update on orders!

Etsy suggested we set our TheSageCottage Etsy shop to vacation mode at this time. We have for the moment done so, but this may change depending on events to come.

FreedomWands Etsy shop is open, with two crystal bound wands available.

We also accept orders via PayPal. Links are on our homepage. If you are interested in purchasing our PDF digital book, a guide to gardening, we can accept payment via PayPal and email the guide to you. The cost is $4.50.

There are reports coming in regarding possible internet interruptions in the near future. In the event of downed interwebs, we shall continue to bundle wands for existing orders, and we shall ship them as planned. Retail orders received from our TheSageCottage Etsy shop are due to ship by end of month. We have stored the addresses offline as a precaution.

Due to diminishing supplies and difficulties obtaining replacement stock, we may face packaging challenges. We are doing our best to get by with what is already on hand.

We hope to reopen our TheSageCottage Etsy shop soon, but we are unsure what exactly is about to erupt in our area and our country.

Quick Update ✿

With Spring comes change!

We're thrilled to announce that The Sage Cottage is wrapping up our long-running Smudge The Planet project, based on focused intuitive work.

We are still very focused on sending healing vibes out into the world using aromatherapy and plant energy. We will continue to offer our service, but using Popular Seasonal Blends more so than our Intuitive Bundles.

We intend to change the wording of how our service functions, to express our crafting as a floral smudge bouquet florist service. This will be a lot of editing over many online sites and literature. Expect to see changes slowly over time.

Single wands may continue to offer a choice of Popular Blends or Intuitive Bundles, depending on clients' expectations for our work.

Very soon we will discontinue Intuitive Bundling for retail orders. We will still offer methods for cleansing energy spiritually, with the same bundle styles and ingredients.

We are very happy about the upcoming changes!

We will continue to use Vibrational Transfer on all of our creations.

The New Moon in Aquarius on January 24 ends the Eclipse cycle, and brings revelation and greater awareness! This is fantastic, as we all need the incredible and uplifting energy which comes to clean house and tidy or release toxic connections.

Do you suffer those harboring Difficult People Syndrome? Many wander through their lives, causing chaos and disorder for everyone they encounter. These types will worsen, and their health challenges will advance this year. Their guides are showing them that their spirits and bodies cannot continue on a negative path. Empathetic helpers will attempt to reach out and suggest solutions for their woes, but if kind words are not taken to heart, The Difficult People will slowly but surely be phased out. By 2022 Earth will choose who is helpful and loving, and who is damaging the planet and the vibe. Change comes! Hang in there!

If anyone crosses you, do not act out. Speak your truth, ask for what you desire, and work with the energies instead of those who refuse to contribute and cooperate. The noisy Debbie Downers are about to fade away! There is no room for human bodies possessed by spirits which cannot and will not advance. Earth is a place of learning and this is a great gift, to be here during this time!

You will see more systems crumble, to make way for what serves highest good. You will also notice governing bodies and corporations make huge pushes into our privacy and right to decide what is best for ourselves and our loved ones. This will not hold for long, better times are headed our way.

We shall inherit all we have earned, and we will live satisfying and meaningful lives. We appreciate all we have and we share what we can give with those around us. Never mind the fools, they truly are not here for much longer. Life goes on for the joyful and the health-minded!

A Global Day of Protest against 5G is planned for January 25, including 205 events in more than 195 cities in 32 countries! This is a sign that people are waking up, taking a stand for health and for LOGIC.

Do you feel the energy protecting all who heal, all who care, all who share wisdom and truth? We do! Take advantage, this is the right time to start good, good things! The universe totally supports all uplifting projects and positive intentions!

The New Year Comes

12/28/2019

With the new year approaching, The Sage Cottage needs to slow down a bit. We've bundled thousands of wands in 2019, and we require a little break. Perhaps you can feel that the energy of 2019 moving into 2020 is something to recognize and respect. Times they are a changing!

We advise everyone to take a little break, as rest and reflection heals the soul and benefits health and mental capabilities. Quiet moments in nature and in meditation also will assist with connection to higher self, to spiritual guides, and deeply strengthens psychic abilities!

Our gardens need a break as well. We have a few enormous retail orders to fulfill, and bundling will use up all of our gardens' growth. We are of course accepting PayPal orders, but our Etsy shops and other online spots are on vacation. We will be back soon!
