Spring is almost here! The morning bird songs have begun! Our Sun stays much longer in the sky each evening, and the gardens are thinking on preparations for warmer times. So are we here at The Sage Cottage, as we wish to offer the most spectacular floral bouquet smudge in 2021.
Each year our gardens expand, indoors and also outside. Coldframes are set up where needed, and our greenhouse has become stuffed full of blooming botanicals.
We cloned enough White Sage, Tibetan Sage, Patchouli, Rosemary, French Lavender, and Sage Cottage Specialty Lavender plants to keep up production yields even during plant die off due to cold temps or low light. This has been our best Winter yet! Never have so many botanicals survived many months into the end of harsh and unpredictable New Jersey Winter weather! Our candle heaters saved the day (and night) when power was down. Our experiments with jugs of water and concrete pavers for passive heating were also a Win! 2020 was very good to us, and 2021 also provides Prosperity and Luck!
The Sage Cottage is not a business. We are a family. Our goal is to help Earth and all life, and to share our talents for improving energy with the public. In selling Blessings Bouquet Smudge we are able to fund care for our magical healing gardens, afford trips to favorite sites for mineral hunting, and pay for the costs of our Orgonite gifting projects. Though our work is time consuming and our processes for crafting are challenging, we look forward to offering our sacred services well into the future! We deeply enjoy and appreciate the relationships we build with clients, and the work we conduct on behalf of those who are guided to our gardens and to our shops.

We would very much like to build an additional greenhouse this Spring! We practice container gardening in our main greenhouse, but we are ready to move forward with a large in-ground set up to help plants survive the rain headed our way. (Prepare for flooding.)
